That's Phyl, having a last look at his birthplace (in all its clutter) before being sent off to his new home for a wishlist dotee swap. He's a groundhog. He belongs to a fortune teller. They're both made of felt.
I think I'm getting the cold everyone else here's had, making this all seem very logical and dramatic to me. I miss you Phyl. :O)
