Itty Bits of Ribbon Galore

Matchboxes filled with pretty bits of ribbons for a swap, going off to canada and England. I so dig these matchbox wrappers because you can embellish them a little or a lot and they're pretty either way. Just a button and a little inking was all these needed.

Scary Black Kitty Button Fairy
Button Fairy...Tail

Halloweeny Button Fae

We had a Spring snowstorm last week, a day of rain followed by a day of wet snow that was essentially deep puddles of slush. But today it was 76 and tomorrow it's supposed to be 80. This Colorado weather could be part of why I tend to art out of season....yes? Halloweeny button fae I made in my fave theme...with scrapbook bits and vintage buttons.

Scary Button Fairy

This lil gal was made last year, my first button fairy. I like the spooky, what can I say. I also love using Mom's buttons for things I plan to keep. :OD

Orange-Gina

Yeah, she's orange. She's for a swap I'm hosting on Swap-bot; "Cute As A Button Dotee and buttons'. Required players to use at least 5 buttons in their dotee and send her along with 10 buttons. Yay, buttons!

If anybody wants to participate in a Very Scary Button Fairy swap, I've got a creepy little swap in that darker 'vein' up on Swapbot as well. :OD

Shabby Chic-ish Bottle Caps and Dominos

Love the colors of these roses. With Glitter!

Spring Button Fae In From The West

These little creatures are so addictive for me to make, but I'm waaay too stingy with my buttons to do it very often, so my partners for this Spring swap should feel lucky! :OD
The Olive Gold one has wings from a 2008 papillions calendar and a happily pensive gal from http://www.Tentwostudios.com. Pansy Purple (my pansies are totally blooming right now despite the 12 inches of snow we had - or are they violets? Hmm...) 's face is also from Ten Two Studios, and of course buttons from Mom's button jar. I may add moe fiber to these before I send them out. Technically, they should both have a dusting of snow on their wings as that would be more true to life about a Colorado Spring.

Too Much Dexter?

NO way! This bottle cap necklace inspired by my fave do-gooder-serial-killer. Perfect images from the Black & White rounds sheets at Ten Two Studios, along with the bottlecaps. don't you love the little blood drop beads? Found those at Biglots a while ago and I knew my scary side would find a use for them. :OD
