The Posts of Christmas Past

I am feeling a little un-Xmassy in spite of the torrents of snow outside, and the fact I am pretty much done shopping except for something to eat, and that I made a few goodies and still have time to maybe eeeek out one or two more crafts before It's All Over and I Just Don't Feel Like It Anymore. (Very serious condition, the after Xmas I don't-want-to-make-any-more-Xmas-things-for-a-while syndrome, but even worse when it hits BEFORE Christmas.)

Here are some memories of last Xmas while we wait to see exactly what I'll do in the next 3 days. Talk amongst yourselves.

Lollicakes all up in my grill

Favorite Xmas lights of last year. These folks had nothing but this blinking DITTO on the roof with an arrow pointed to the house next door that was blindingly decked out.

Eryn made this laundry line of Mr. & Mrs. Santa's clothes for me last year. This year I see Santa's laundry wrapping paper, Santa's laundry stamps, and even received another line of Santa's laundry in an ornament swap!! What gives? I still maintain this is the BEST ONE.

This was my Johnny Weir Christmas in the City winter piece that I actually didn't finish until this April or so, but I wanted to work some Johnny in.

Knee hugger Santa all spread out with his armless buddy, who seems less than happy to be there. Cute or creepy? Answer: yes.

Eryn also made this holiday cuckoo clock from a matchbox last year. I rreeeaaalllyy wanted to make some for swaps this year but one pesky thing got in the way: LAZY.

And this is a reminder of why I have a little forest of trees on my table this year with zero ornaments on them.

I just might do a bit more gluing before Xmas eve and our traditional trip out to look at lights. I want to make a couple of simple wrapped trees and a subway art style sign or two. I have probably jinxed it by typing it out loud. :OP
